Tips to Mapping out Big Ideas:

I'm going to share with you a few steps I take personally in my creative process, be it while creating a drawing, painting, write up etc. And generally speaking this works for me. Don't hesitate to add to it if you feel I've neglected an important stage that you find helpful. 1. paint the bigger picture first, make easy to understand (using symbols and statements you can remember easily) and as detailed as possible. layer on the big idea of what should go where, just the rough sketches
2. Give it time, stand back and look at the bigger picture/ make it make sense, receive insight from the idea, ponder on it, conduct thorough research. Beware, because at this stage you can judge the unfinished piece and throw it in the bin.
3. Comeback to the bigger picture after gaining more insight and dissect into smaller ideas.
4. Treat small sections as units and begin to add more details, tweak it to suit intended imagine
5. The picture would become clearer and begin to come together, Appreciate it. Give yourself some break and come back to it. (Always remember that the best solutions come when you’re not thinking about the problem)

3. Believe in yourself, trusting your ideas above the masters' is key.
